Although I haven’t seen a copy yet, looking at the people involved, I’ll bet The Business Podcasting Book is worth the money.

The people involved in this book are all thought - leaders in our industry with a great deal of recognition and respect.

Michael W. Geoghegan, Greg Cangialosi, Tim Bourquin and Colette Vogele are the authors.

New Podcast Ideas? - OnlineMediaTips.com

Are there any new, innovative podcasts out there? I’ve seen a dozen Ninja and French Maid copies (None as good as the originals of course.) I’ve seen hundreds of tech shows, cooking shows, etc.

Is anybody doing anything truly new and innovative? And if not, why not? We have no rules here. We can make any kind of show we want.

The opportunity to discover great character-driven shows is huge right now. Breakout talent that we’d never hear about in traditional media, can use new media to showcase themselves. My pal Merlin Mann of the Merlin Show comes to mind. Who else?

I do think there are some great shows out there, but what I am mainly curious about is what great shows have been developed in the last six months?

If you have any favorite podcasts that are really entertaining, different, innovative and seem to have traction, please let me know.

Podcasting Gear At Macworld & Final Macworld Thoughts - PodcastingTricks.com

NOTE: Cross-posted at PodcastGearGuy.com

With regard to podcasting gear, there wasn’t much to look at. I am both surprised and a little disappointed that there wasn’t a bigger footprint on the show floor from podcasting-related companies. I am also sorry that the show organizers didn’t place a higher value on podcasting training. There was one podcasting track on the last day, and it provided some good information, but it could have been better.
